In 2011, with little more than faith, Google, and prayer, Kendra opened Sew St. Louis Salon — and changed the trajectory of her life, as well as the lives of countless others in the process. No capital. No industry connections. No blueprint. No mentor. All she had was vision from God, and that proved to be enough.

What began as a single location grew into a thriving beauty empire — five salon locations, three retail stores, and a brand that became a household name in the St. Louis market.

Over a 15-year career, she established herself as a respected authority in launching and scaling new beauty businesses, developing business systems, brand development, and beauty business consulting — on both the creative and operational sides of the industry.

A certified hair replacement specialist, a featured beauty correspondent on Fox 2 News, and a recipient of multiple awards, her accomplishments speak for themselves.

In 2023, frustrated by the persistent gaps she witnessed in access, education, and resources within the beauty industry, Kendra decided to investigate in search for answers. She sought clarity, direction, and confirmation through prayer. And the answer she received was simple, direct, and undeniable: God told Kendra to, "Go." So she went.

What began as a research mission became something far greater. Kendra found herself embedded in the inner workings of the global beauty production world — walking manufacturing floors, sitting across from producers supplying America's biggest brands, and gaining firsthand exposure to sourcing, private label development, supply chain management, and the wholesale economics that drive the international market.

She traveled to nearly 30 countries across five continents and discovered an industry operating at a level most U.S. beauty professionals will never see. She built relationships, earned trust, and secured rare access.
